About This Plant

Frangipani (Plumeria) is famous for its richly scented, waxy flowers in shades of white, yellow, and pink — the same blooms used in Hawaiian leis. As a container plant it forms a small, sculptural tree with thick branches and clusters of long green leaves. It loves full sun and warmth, and prefers to dry out between deep waterings. In cooler months it may drop its leaves and rest, which is normal. Bring it indoors or protect it before temperatures drop near freezing. Best treated as a sun-loving patio plant that comes inside for winter.

Care Guide

Thrives in full sun to bright light. Great for patios.
