About This Plant

The Philodendron Pink Princess earns its ‘grail plant’ reputation. Its dark, glossy leaves emerge marbled with bubblegum-pink variegation, and because that variegation is unstable and unpredictable, each new leaf is a small surprise — some nearly solid pink, others richly speckled. Despite the exotic looks, it’s surprisingly forgiving. It thrives in bright, indirect light — which also brings out stronger pink — and prefers to dry out slightly between waterings rather than sitting damp. Give it something to climb for larger, more dramatic foliage. Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, so place it out of reach of pets.

Care Guide

Light

Bright indirect light is ideal. Avoid harsh direct sun.

Watering

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry.

Pet Safety

Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested. Keep out of reach.
