Bromeliad Neoregelia

Description

Neoregelia bromeliads produce bold rosettes of strap-shaped leaves that intensify in color — often red, pink, or purple at the heart — when grown in good light. Native to Brazil’s rainforests, they grow epiphytically and enjoy airy, fast-draining conditions.

Keep them in bright, indirect light for strongest color, top up the central cup with fresh water occasionally, and let the potting mix dry between waterings. Non-toxic and low-maintenance, they’re an easy, colorful statement plant.
