Description
Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is beloved for good reason: heart-shaped leaves splashed with golden-yellow variegation, a fast trailing or climbing habit, and near-legendary tolerance of imperfect conditions. It’s one of the best plants for beginners.
It grows in almost any light from low to bright indirect (brighter light means more variegation) and only needs water when the top inch or two of soil dries. Trailing, climbing, or in water — it adapts to it all. Toxic to pets if ingested, so keep vines out of reach.
