Description
Monstera deliciosa is one of the most recognizable houseplants in the world, famous for its large, glossy leaves that develop natural holes and splits (fenestrations) as they mature. Native to the rainforests of Central America, it’s a vigorous climber that brings instant tropical drama to any room.
It thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers its soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Give it a moss pole to climb and you’ll be rewarded with bigger, more dramatic leaves. Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, so place it thoughtfully.
